Welcome to our website.
As pastor of Union Chapel, I would like to invite you to join us in church on Sunday, and try us on for size.

We have a blended worship service that seeks to be inclusive in nature.

As United Methodists we seek to be faithful to our call as Christians. Our church and congregation exemplify the United Methodist motto: Open Hearts, Open Minds, and Open Doors.

We have several active ministries. One is the United Methodist Youth Fellowship, which is under new leadership. Another is a Children's program that seeks to teach our children about God's love. The leadership in this program is second to none. Activities planned throughout the year, include an annual trunk or treat event, an Easter Egg Hunt and Vacation Bible School.

Our other ministries include United Methodist Women, support of local food banks, rummage sales, an annual UMW Bazaar, an adult choir, adult education classes, and classes of varying interests throughout the year.

One very special ministry we offer is to couples just starting their lives together. We are aware that many couples seeking a church for a wedding, are also looking for a church home they can share together. We invite couples looking for a site for their wedding to look at our wedding guidelines page. We know it can sometimes be a difficult thing to find a church to perform your wedding. We are happy to provide a place for that to occur. Then, we would invite you to come to our services as well. We would love to become your church.

We are a family oriented church located on the North side of Indianapolis at the corner of East 86th street and Haverstick road. We are a church with a hometown feel on one of the busiest sides of town in the city.

We have recently completed several projects including the installation of a new full elevator to insure better access for all.

We are a warm and welcoming congregation, and would love to have you visit us on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. for worship, or at 9:00 a.m. for adult Sunday School.
